Thanks to high-quality processing (e.g. EFS, ESR), these materials are extremely stable even under high loads, which ensures a long service life of the molds and minimal maintenance costs. They are ideal for the production of molds for complex stampings, where dimensional accuracy, surface quality and reliability are key. We offer them in blocks, round and flat bars, as well as individually adjusted according to drawing documentation.
For the production of molds – especially injection molds for plastics, aluminum or zinc alloy die casting – we offer a wide portfolio of high-quality tool steels. Typical grades such as DIN 1.2343 , DIN 1.2344 , DIN 1.2738 or modifications with higher hardness (e.g. HH – High Hardness) are characterized by excellent polishability, good machinability and high resistance to wear and thermal deformation.
