Toolox 33 is a modern tool steel supplied in a quenched and tempered condition . Thanks to its high toughness and low residual stress, it achieves excellent dimensional stability after machining . It is an ideal choice for the production of molds, stamping tools and machine parts , where long life and reliability are key.

Toolox 33 is not intended for further heat treatment. Surface treatments such as nitriding or coating can only be carried out up to 590 °C . The steel is very polishable , which facilitates the production of precision molds.
Mechanical properties of Toolox 33
Hardness (HBW): 275–325 (EN ISO 6506-1)
Notch resistance: min. 35 J (EN 1025, EN ISO 148)
Ultrasonic inspection: according to EN 10160
